The attempted burglary occurred at 507 Outfitters in Williams Township just after 4:35 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 28, Pennsylvania State Police said.

The burglar used an ax to try to break into the building, which is located at 1000 Belmont St. in Northampton County, police said.

Anyone with information on the suspect’s identity is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police Belfast Station at (610) 759-6106 and reference Incident Number PA22-1378849.
